Research focuses:
  ●  Functionalized nanoparticles and polymers for self-assembly and biomedical applications.
  ●  Theoretical techniques rooted in Statistical Mechanics (e.g. coarse-graining), as well as Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics Simulations to design and predict the properties of possible new materials and to guid the optimization of existing ones. 
  ●  The application of Machine Learning techniques together with ab-initio simulation to develop an efficient and accurate methodology to study nanoparticles nucleation under relevant atmospheric conditions, e.g. the so-called "haze problem".
